How to move a licence?
A license can be moved from one device to another any number of times. Please uninstall the app on the old device so that the serial number becomes available again. Then download and install the app or the Windows version on the new device and enter the serial number again. You can find the current version in the download area (Windows) or in Google PlayStore.
If there are problems with the serial number (e.g. because the old device is broken and the software can no longer be uninstalled there), you can reset the serial number as follows:
Log in to the Web Portal and select the “old” device. If you have several devices and you are not sure which one is the old one, you can check under “Sync” which one has the oldest sync date. For the corresponding device select Web Portal -> Settings -> Delete device. This action makes the serial number available again and can be used for another device. Alternatively, you can click on the three dots at the top next to the device selection. Then select the entry “My Devices/Licenses”. There you will also see a list of your active devices and can delete an old device from there.
If you want to apply (extensive) settings, you can save them via Web Portal -> Settings -> Import/Export (per user) and load them again later. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via the Contact page.
